Kaslo May Days Celebration
The celebration this year takes place on May 20th, 21st, and 22nd

For over 120 continuous years, the Victoria Day weekend has been celebrated in Kaslo with a three day festival. Hosted by the Kaslo and Area Chamber of Commerce, the many  highlights of this celebration include the annual May Pole Dance performed by the 1st graders of Kaslo, the World Class Logger Sports, the amazing food vendors and much more.  Kaslo is home to the longest consecutive annual Maypole Dance in North America.

Artists, craftsmen, musicians and performers are featured in Vimy Park throughout the weekend. The annual May Days Parade on Monday tops off the celebration.

Kaslo Logger Sports
Treat the family to a fun day of action packed entertainment at the Kaslo Logger Sports show. Watch lumberjacks chop, throw, roll and climb their way through exciting logging events like the Springboard Chop, Axe Throwing, Choker Race and Log Rolling. Our show includes five Canadian Championships. All this happens on the Saturday & Sunday of the Victoria Day Long Weekend in Kaslo at Vimy Park. Logger Sports is a celebration and tribute to the role that forestry plays in our region and is sponsored by our logging contractors, forestry industry folks, local businesses and volunteers. The show is provided to the community free of charge.
